EAGLES LAY FROM ONE TO THREE EGGS. EGGS REQUIRE 35 DAYS OF INCUBATION.
BECAUSE AN EAGLE CAN LIVE UP TO THIRTY YEARS, IT HAS MANY YEARS TO PRODUCE
OFFSPRING. HOWEVER, IN A LIFETIME, ONLY A FEW EGGS HATCHED WILL SURVIVE
TO OLD AGE. FROM THE TIME THE PARENTS BUILD THE NEST TO THE TIME WHEN THE
YOUNG ARE ON THEIR OWN IS ABOUT 20 WEEKS.
